About 2 Helping 2
2 Helping 2 is a community-driven nonprofit created to bring real, tangible support back to the places that need it most. We exist because too many Black families are working hard and doing the right things, yet still face systemic setbacks that make stability feel out of reach.
Too often, traditional help comes with long delays, "red tape," or requirements that don’t reflect the reality of our lives. We believe our people deserve better than that. We also believe the most powerful solutions are the ones we build for ourselves, by ourselves, and with those who truly stand in solidarity with us.
Our Mission: Restart, Rebuild, Breathe
We are here to help our community catch their breath. Whether it’s navigating a sudden hurdle or providing the tools and guidance needed for lasting stability, 2 Helping 2 is about more than a moment of relief—it’s about a movement of resilience.
Born from real conversations and lived experiences, our work is powered by everyday people—the neighbors, the supporters, and the allies—who believe that collective giving creates a massive impact.
The Power of the $2 Bill
Our movement centers on the $2 bill. To us, it represents something familiar, something hopeful, and something undeniably powerful when placed in the hands of a united community.
For the Community: This is about us showing up for one another with pride, love, and purpose.
For our Allies: This is an opportunity to fuel a grassroots engine that bypasses the broken systems and goes straight to the heart of the need.
When enough of us give consistently, we change outcomes. We shift generational patterns. We build the kind of future our families deserve. This is community ownership. This is 2 Helping 2.

OUR APPROACH
We Mobilize
We don't ignore problems; we organize around them.
When our community needs attention, we don’t wait for permission, grants, or headlines—we move. Fast, coordinated, and intentional, our power doesn’t come from a single large donor. It comes from hundreds of us deciding that small actions, when multiplied, become an undeniable force.
We turn everyday people into a collective engine for change.
We Build
We don't patch holes; we're reinforce foundations.
True support means backing ideas before they break, strengthening families before they fall, and fueling Black-owned businesses before they close.
We believe:
Stability is power.
Ownership is power.
Circulation of dollars within our own community is power.
We build inpenatrable structures that last beyond the crisis.
We Multiply
Two dollars alone is quiet, but $2 Helping $2 is momentum. When we act together, "small" becomes strategic. Modesty becomes meaningful, and consistency becomes transformative.
We are proving that making an impact shouldn’t require wealth—only willingness.
This isn't symbolic; it’s operational. We aren’t asking for charity; we are asking for your commitment and partnership to create leverage.
The future of our community expands with leverage.

our founder
2 Helping 2 was not an idea that appeared out of thin air. It was born from survival, loss, reflection, and faith, and it is built on the belief that when people come together consistently, even small acts of generosity can create real change.
It reflects the same values in our founder Louis Charles Rozier was raised with and the same heart he has carried his entire life: faith-driven, family-rooted, and community-centered.
It exists to strengthen Black futures, uplift Black families, and support the next generation of Black children, youth, adults, elders, homebuyers, entrepreneurs, and future graduates who deserve stability, opportunity, and the kind of support that does not come with shame attached.

Rooted in Character
Charles has always been the kind of man who lives with purpose, even before he ever called it that. Born and raised in Stuart, Florida, he has lived there his entire life, rooted in a community he knows well and loves deeply. He was raised as an only child, but never a spoiled one, and even as a boy, he was known for being generous, always willing to share what he had and quick to think of others before himself.
His mother raised him with steady hands and a strong heart, teaching him to stay grounded, to show up for people, and to live with sincerity. If you had to describe him in five words, they would fit him clean and true: loyal, considerate, mindful, centered, and authentic. What makes him different is simple, yet rare. He means what he says, there is no performance in him, and what you see is what you get.

Service Beyond the Uniform
Charles is a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, where his service instilled in him a strong sense of discipline, responsibility, and resilience. After his time in the Navy, he spent years driving commercial trucks, tackling long-hauls across state lines while building a life centered around hard work. all the miles traveled, he has maintained a deep connection to his hometown of Stuart, Florida, where he knows his neighbors by name and is actively engaged in the community.
Within his family, Charles is recognized for his big heart. He was dedicated to caring for his mother during her final years, showing love, humility, and unwavering commitment. Those closest to him describe him as compassionate, loyal, and empathetic. He consistently in on relatives, encourages family gatherings, shares advice, and ensures that no one feels overlooked. To Charles, family is not just a term; it is something he cherishes and protects. His loyalty also extends to the Black community.
Over the years, Charles has committed himself to understanding his family's history, as well as the broader narrative of Black history. He believes that meaningful change stems from understanding, consistency, and community investment. Many recognize him for handing out $2 bills, which serve not merely as a novelty but a symbol of how small, consistent actions can lead to powerful outcomes.
Pain Became Purpose
During the COVID pandemic, Charles and his mother contracted the virus and were both hospitalized at the same time. Tragically, his mother passed away days after his admission, and he couldn't attend her funeral, leaving him heartbroken. He experienced intense pain and feared for his life while having a vision about the $2 bill, a symbol of good. This experience profoundly impacted him, enhancing his empathy and shifting his mindset. Committed to living for something greater, he vowed that his and love would serve a purpose, leading to the creation of 2 Helping 2.

Faith & Family
Charles remains church-oriented and a proud Christian. He enjoys traveling locally, often taking simple drives with his wife, Cynthia, right by his side.
She is the love of his life, and he is a deeply doting husband who values the life they have built together over the years.
They enjoy their time together, lean on one another, and have held each other up through some of the hardest moments of their lives. The strength of their bond is something anyone close to them can easily see.

His Promise
Charles loves to play the guitar, steady and reflective, much like the way he lives his life. At his core, he is still the generous, grounded boy from Stuart who learned to share, to care, and to stand firm in love.
2 Helping 2 is not just a nonprofit to him. It is personal, it is purpose made visible, and it is his promise that what he endured, what he lost, and what he learned will continue to bless others for years to come.
